James and Tat made it to Tallahassee for Thanksgiving this year. Micah sadly couldn't make it as he is being all studious. Pictures of our family are here (thanks, Erik). We had a good time - now Tat and James are getting ready to go to Arkansas Saturday for some time with Tat's dad and his side of the family.
Some random thoughts about life in London that I haven't gotten down yet:
Meeting people. Most of the people we meet in London, including people in our ward at church, are foreigners. (Somehow, I'm not sure that James has a chance of developing a British accent this way.) So far, besides U.K. citizens, I've met people from Argentina, Australia, Cyprus, Finland, France, Germany, Ghana, Hong Kong, Italy, Jamaica, Lebanon, Mexico, Morocco, New Zealand, Nigeria, the Phillipines, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Trinidad, and the U.S. Yeah. A veritable melting pot.
James. Keeps asking to see the sharks and fish here in Florida. I tell him they live in London (at the London Aquarium, to which we have an annual pass) and that he'll have to wait until we go back there on the plane. Also confuses the word "jellyfish" (from the aquarium) with "peanut butter and jelly sandwich," and so asks for a "jellyfish sandwich" from time to time. So darn cute.
